The Olympics are nigh! For two weeks all eyes are on London, the ceremony, the competition and hundreds of superhuman bodies all doing what they do best, and the people at Tokii are no exception! We wanted to know everything our members think about the Olympic games, and you answered the call in Gold Medal fashion! Whether you thought it was all about national pride, or about the athletes stories, or about all the eye candy parading around in their bathing suits, the Tokii Community had plenty to say!
It’s interesting to know that 15% of our users don’t think the Summer Games are that big a deal, but for those who did, most of the men believe that it’s all about the stories and the struggles our athletes have been through, while way more women believe it’s about bringing the world together and fostering our mutual respect and awareness.
We’ve all got different reasons for watching, but it’s one of the world’s most interesting 14 days, and wherever you are, we hope you have someone comfortable to watch it with!
We had so much fun watching the Olympics this year! It is so inspiring to see how hard working all of the athletes are, and their focused determination. It is quite inspiring. They are going after their dreams in those few moments, and we get to witness it! It doesn’t hurt to watch a little, especially if you need motivation to get back in the gym!
That must have been just heart breaking for Kim Collins, who got expelled from the games for leaving the Olympic Village to see his wife. How devastating for an athlete that worked so hard to get there.
