It’s been said many times, many ways, but the pursuit of happiness is basically what working, loving, getting up in the morning boils down to. Just as everybody has the odd day where everything goes right and there’s a reason to smile everywhere you turn, sometimes things just suck. As a fella wiser than myself once said “Somedays you eat the Bear, Somedays the Bear eats you”. Most days however, are a little from column A and a little from Column B, and it’s how we approach them that makes the difference. So, God, in her infinite wisdom, decided to give us a cheat and invented love, a partner that would always help steer those “in between” days over into the good column. If you’re one half of a couple, it’s your job, and not always an easy job, to comfort, to cheer up and to “make better”. To that end we asked our members for their thoughts on what made happy, and we tallied up our user’s regular settings on the Tokii MoodMeter. The results are actually kind of wonderful! Most of us (75% of fellas and 66% of our ladies) are using their partners to put them in a better frame of mind! That is good good stuff. Our numbers make it official! If you’re feeling down, reach out to that person across the dinner table. Nobody loves or knows you more!
