George Clooney was recently spotted with current squeeze Stacey Keibler, enjoying a romantic meal at one of Italy’s finest eateries within the award winning Villa D’Este hotel. The hotel, which is situated on the shores of the stunning Lake Como is merely a stones throw down the road from the actor’s 30-room lakeside villa, where he and Stacey have been holidaying for the last two weeks. So as this relationship nears the one-year-anniversary mark, we can’t help but wonder how much of a run the indisputably gorgeous former WWE Diva, Miss Keibler has remaining. George, who’s relationship history is as notorious for it’s variety as for each new pairings seemingly inevitable limited longevity, has dated a string of incredible looking women.

Prior to Stacey, George was involved with Elisabetta Canalis, an Italian actress, TV presenter and model. The relationship lasted just shy of two years, ending suspiciously soon after a magazine interview in which Canalis expressed a desire for a future which included marriage, telling Italian magazine Chi, “I could never be with someone who every time he opens his mouth says he doesn’t want a child with me or to marry me…“. Clooney has made no secret of his stance on marriage, telling Piers Morgan in January 2011, that the failed marriage he had with actress Talia Balsam proved how successful he was at it. The couple wed in Las Vegas in 1989 and were divorced in 1993, George stated in a later interview with Vanity Fair, “I probably – definitely – wasn’t someone who should have been married at that point… I just don’t feel like I gave Talia a fair shot“.

Rumors of George’s kinky sexual tendencies were rife after remarks made by sources allegedly close to former girlfriend, Sarah Larson back in 2007, that he was both the best and the kinkiest lover she’d ever had, along with tales of his penchant for role playing, crazy fetishes and outrageous bedroom games. The star is also reputed to enjoy a preference for erotic asphyxiation.

As well as a successful film and television career, Clooney is well known for his humanitarian work raising awareness of the plight of Sudan. It has been suggested he may consider progressing into political office, a notion he firmly rejected, telling Newsweek that he has far too many skeletons in his closet having “...f***ed too many chicks and done too many drugs…“.

George, who is also rumored to have enjoyed dalliances with fellow movie-stars Lucy Liu, Renee Zellweger and Charlize Theron among others, is often the subject of tabloid speculation over his sexuality, with many believing his hesitance to settling down is due to him actually being gay. Addressing these rumors, speaking to The Advocate he stated; “I think it’s funny, but the last thing you’ll ever see me do is jump up and down saying, ‘These are lies!’. That would be unfair and unkind to my good friends in the gay community.” Clooney, who is a well recognized supporter of same-sex marriage rights, said, “I’m not going to let anyone make it seem like being gay is a bad thing. My private life is private, and I’m very happy in it. Who does it hurt if someone thinks I’m gay? I’ll be long dead and there will still be people who say I was gay. I don’t give a sh*t.” While not all of the women George has dated have been in the public eye, they do all have one thing in common; being insanely attractive.

George’s attitude towards relationships and life in general seems to adopt a very much live-for-the moment philosophy, telling Esquire magazine, “My life isn’t focused on results.” He adds, “My life is really focused on the process of doing all the things I’m doing, from work to relationships to friendships to charitable work. If I focused on results, if it’s only about the ultimate results, I’d be a failure in Sudan, I’d be a failure in film, I’d be a failure with my friendships, I’d be a failure in relationships. I look at it as an ongoing process.” So it does seem to be rather a case of ‘when the going gets tough.. the George gets going…‘. And if Miss Keibler doesn’t progress into Mrs Clooney, we’re sure it won’t be long before he’s in possession of new and dazzling arm candy. It’s hardly as though he doesn’t hold the credentials for attracting beautiful women, a multi-millionaire Oscar-winning movie-star with mansions in L.A and Italy, who regularly appears on “Sexiest Man Alive” lists, holding a passion for humanitarian aid and endowed with charisma by the bucket load, we’d imagine if he were to update his status to single – he’d be have no trouble getting poked.
