Chunky Banana Snack

 

Have you ever considered surprising your partner with a homemade lunch? With busy mornings you probably don’t have time, but with a little advanced preparation you can make this special meal while watching your favorite TV show. This is the perfect snack recipe because it’s so easy to make and is a tasty way to add some healthy flavour to your partners lunchbox.

Chunky Banana Snack
(makes 1 serving)

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons of chunky peanut butter
1 whole wheat tortilla
1 ripe banana

Directions:
Spread an even layer of peanut butter on the tortilla.
Lay the banana towards the bottom, straightening it slightly to remove its curve.
Tightly roll the tortilla around the banana.
Slice into rounds and wrap in a foil and pack in a lunch box.
Pack it in the lunch box.

Add a little more to your personalized treat by including a homemade fruit salad with this snack. Simply cut fruits on small pieces (strawberry, water melon, pineapple, peaches or any kind of fruit you prefer) Put it in a plastic box. Splash it with 1 tablespoon of lemon juice and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. Top lightly with cinnamon.

Don’t forget to include a note “I love you babe”.
