There’s no question that the momentum of history is on the side of Same Sex Marriage.  Proponents of equality say today’s LGBT struggle is simply an extension of the civil rights movement. From TV shows to the President declaring his “evolved” opinion on the matter, it seems that our overall culture is moving slowly but surely into the pro camp.  We wanted to know what the Tokii community was thinking about the issue, and when we asked, you answered.  A huge portion of our community (40% of men and a whopping 68% of women) see it as a non-issue, but a quarter of our men that were asked, think homosexuality is an affront to God.

 

The Kony2012 viral video hit the Internet like a ton of bricks- filling up the feeds of social media sites faster than you could bat an eye.  A tale of children robbed of their innocence and plunged into a life of war and sexual slavery could not be ignored.  The video was a call to action.  Unfortunately, the creator of the video got himself in a bit of hot water with a now infamous public incident.  This polarized public opinions about weather or not the video that touched the world had ulterior motives.  Lets take a look at how Tokii readers feel about Kony2012- how much can be achieved in 30 minutes of video?
